**Salary range $149,686- $202,422 (based on experience) plus super.**
**About Hydro Tasmania**:
'Battery of the Nation' (BotN) is Hydro Tasmania's bold vision to maximise Tasmania's hydropower capacity, including the redevelopment of the Tarraleah hydropower scheme to a more flexible, future proof generating asset and developing our first pumped hydro scheme at Lake Cethana.
Tasmania has significant potential in the future development of wind and hydropower, coupled with more transmission and interconnection. It's anticipated these developments will drive billions of dollars in investment and create hundreds of jobs in Tasmania, as well as delivering energy security for Tasmania and lowest possible power prices for Tasmanians.
**About You**:
With proven experience as a Risk Manager in construction or infrastructure projects, you possess a deep understanding of risk management principles, methods and tools to not only help establish the program risk management framework, but also mitigate risks across various areas. Your strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting data, trends, and patterns to make informed decisions and present them to senior leadership. As a leader within the team, your interpersonal skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships, fostering collaboration, and influencing stakeholders to take appropriate risk management actions. Your problem-solving abilities and analytical skills enable you to navigate environments of ambiguity and change effectively.
**About the role**:
The Program Risk Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective management of program and project specific risks in alignment with the corporate Integrated Business Risk Management framework. Acting as a bridge between project-level risk management and strategic business level risks, the Program Risk Manager oversees continuity plans for project teams, contractors, and Delivery Partners throughout procurement and construction phases of our various projects. Your responsibilities will include identifying, monitoring, and reporting on pan-program risks that will impact the delivery of the BotN program or pose a material risk to Hydro Tasmania as a business. Additionally, you will support the execution of the Program Risk Strategy and contribute to improvement activities and innovations in risk management whilst fostering strong working relationships across multidisciplinary project teams.
