Job Description We're looking for a highly skilled PeopleSoft Global Payroll Specialist.
This role is part of a long-term engagement under a national program delivering HR and payroll solutions in a secure and complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery and maintenance of PeopleSoft Global Payroll (GP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues to ensure accurate fortnightly pay runs.
• Provide configuration and end-user support within the PeopleSoft HCM/GP application.
• Design and recommend system and payroll control enhancements aligned with business needs.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery.
• Contribute to ongoing knowledge sharing, mentoring, and training activities within the team.
Required Experience:
• 5 years proven experience with PeopleSoft Global Payroll (v8 or v9) and HCM.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation and superannuation.
• Advanced analytical and fault-finding skills within HRIS environments.
• Proficient with PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Query.
• Experience in system and software testing (UAT, defect resolution, regression).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Defence systems (PMKeyS, DSM, IEnterprise) is a plus.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors is desirable but not essential.
