Due to strategic growth across our education sector, we currently have availability for both a senior Food & Beverage Manager (Site Manager) and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join a newly refurbished, prestigious partnership for a December/January start date. Interviews will be commencing immediately.
**Overall purpose of the role**
Employed to manage the significant quality residential, function and retail operations of this site in a safe and efficient manner. This role will lead the team to deliver an unquestionable commitment to quality and innovation, across all the services, and to provide a daily service that reflects best practice across the operations. You will drive our Chartwells brand standards and share our passion and enthusiasm for delivering a boutique and tailored food and beverage experience where attention to detail is paramount. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all tasks associated with food production are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations. Promotion and support of Our Safety Culture framework is expected.
**The Person**
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Hospitality management position
- Experience in retail and events/function catering
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
- Attention to detail and a passion for innovation
- Experience in workplace health and safety issues
**Key Duties**
- Responsible for the catering operations at this large, prestigious school with significant boarding and function catering
- Hours are predominantly weekday, occasionally weekend shifts
- Plan and organise events
- Manage labour and food costs
- Lead, mentor and manage staff members
