About The Role
Colac Adult and Youth Mental Health Service forms part of Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services (MHDAS), delivering specialist public mental health care across the Barwon Region.
The Colac Adult & Youth Team provides integrated mental health, drug and alcohol treatment and recovery-oriented support to people aged 16–65 years, with a strong focus on young people aged 16–25 experiencing complex presentations, including co-occurring substance use and homelessness.
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to young people with complex needs while providing line management supervision to clinicians managing youth consumers.
This role actively contributes to local service leadership, team capability development and continuous service improvement initiatives within MHDAS.
You will work within a multidisciplinary framework aligned to recovery-oriented practice, trauma-informed care and psychosocial risk reduction.

What We Are Looking For
Relevant qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or PsychologyDemonstrated experience working with youth (16–25) with complex needsExperience managing AOD comorbidity and psychosocial riskProven leadership capability and supervision experience
