As a skilled culinary professional, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with our menu.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook food to meet high standards of quality and presentation.
* Ensure that food handling and storage practices meet regulatory requirements and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Oversee the plating and garnishing of dishes, ensuring consistency and artistic presentation.
* Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements and develop new recipes to innovate our menu.
* Regulate the temperature of stoves and ovens to ensure dishes are cooked at the appropriate level.
* Monitor food storage and handling practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist with menu planning and estimation of food requirements to optimize kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will possess AQF associate degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality qualification. Prior experience as a Chef is essential.
