Verra are once again proud to be partnering with a reputable Tier 2 builder, supporting their resourcing for a newly award project in the heart of Melbourne.
Our client is a leader in live environment / complex brownfield redevelopments, as well as greenfield new-build projects across retail, commercial & mixed-use, aged care and health. They have the Tier 1 experience but run and operate like mum and dad business, keeping close to the details and at the coal face, whilst fostering an inclusive environment that challenges you for all the right reasons.
This particular project is a marquee, $90mil redevelopment in the heart of inner-city Melbourne, that they are gearing up for.
To support the project ongoing, they are looking for a Site Supervisor to join their team and be a part of this project on a permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role working under a Senior Site Manager on a well-resourced and structured team.
What your day-to-day looks like
* Managing day-to-day site activities on a marquee brownfield redevelopment
* Assisting the Site Manager with coordination of trades & suppliers
* Driving the program, empowering subcontractors and controlling costs
* Fostering a zero-harm, safety culture
What we need from you
* Experience working across complex, brownfield projects / live environments (preferred)
* Solid grasp on services, internal finishes and sequenced staging
* Ability to step into a team and influence efficient outcomes across trades / subbies
* Pragmatic attitude when problem solving
* Safety first mindset with a foundational trade background / tertiary qualification (Construction Management or equivalent)
