About Us
Aury Australia is a global supplier of high-quality equipment to the mineral processing industry. We specialise in vibrating screens, centrifuges, and consumable products, supporting clients across the mining and mineral processing sectors.
We are currently seeking a diligent, skilled and team-oriented Workshop Coordinator to join our team at our Rutherford Head Office. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is a key part of our workshop operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including manufacturing, overhauls, assembly, and off-site repairs. The role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within specified delivery timelines .
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage daily workshop activities and team members
* Plan and prioritise workloads to meet project and customer requirements
* Maintain workshop efficiency by implementing and improving processes
* Ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards
* Collaborate with other departments to reduce delays and discrepancies
* Oversee equipment maintenance and manage stock levels
* Promote a strong safety culture using risk assessments, SWMS, inspections, and safety meetings
* Maintain accurate documentation and reports for operations, WHS and compliance
What We're Looking For
* Experience in workshop supervision or a similar leadership role
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, QA, and safety standards
* Excellent leadership, communication and team-building skills
* Confident decision-maker with stakeholder engagement skills
* High attention to detail with a commitment to quality
* Strong problem-solving skills with a practical mindset
* Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and workshop management software
Essential Qualifications
* Mechanical Trade Qualification
* High-Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
* Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Desirable Experience
* Experience in vibrating screen and exciter rebuilds
