About the HomeThe charming Bupa Rangeville is a modern care home nestled in the quiet suburb of Rangeville, Toowoomba with peaceful views over Garnett Lehmann Park. We offer a dedicated team for each of our four communities, including two communities for people living with dementia. It consists of 108 beds, with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Your passion for food along with your person-first approach will make a real difference to the life of our residents. This is a permanent part-time role (approx. 22 hours per week).DutiesPlan and prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals for our residentsLiaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents’ dietary, individual, and cultural needs are metSupport the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering servicesComply with all infection control and food safety proceduresPerform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation such as stock taking and food quality assessmentSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environmentCertificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to solve problems independentlyCultureWe all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care: helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.
