ALD Group QLD Pty Ltd is a professional demolition and construction services company delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes for residential and commercial projects across Victoria. Due to ongoing project growth, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our operations team on a full-time basis.
Position Overview
The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day onsite activities, coordinate workers and subcontractors, and ensure tasks are completed in line with project plans, timelines and safety standards. The role requires hands-on supervision, problem-solving and effective communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate day-to-day onsite work activities, allocate tasks and monitor performance of workers and subcontractors.
· Manage site logistics including equipment allocation, access control, material deliveries and waste removal planning.
· Work with project managers to implement demolition and construction methods that align with technical, environmental and safety requirements.
· Identify hazards, ensure WHS compliance and promote safe work practices across all stages of the project.
· Maintain accurate site records, progress logs and provide timely updates to office-based project personnel.
· Liaise with clients, trades and inspectors to support smooth project delivery.
· Monitor quality of completed work and ensure it meets project specifications, schedule milestones and industry standards.
· Assist in coordinating resources between multiple job sites when required, ensuring continuity of labour, tools and materials.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience supervising onsite construction or demolition activities.
* Strong understanding of Australian WHS requirements and safe work procedures.
* Ability to read job scopes, site instructions and plans.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse labour teams.
* Capacity to work in physically demanding and time-sensitive environments.
* Valid driver's licence; ability to travel to different work sites as required.
Relevant trade qualification or construction management training will be highly regarded.
