Remuneration:
$158,080 to $165,606 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

We are seeking a Team Leader, Digital Media Production and Design to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division. The role blends traditional media production and content creation innovation, working with creatives, technical production experts and a range of QUT clients to deliver media production services which showcase education and research experiences across QUT. The Team Leader considers emerging technology in the content creation landscape to enable media production and raise digital media literacy among Academic and Professional staff. The role blends creative, technical and delivery skills, while supporting Academics in creating educational and research experiences for students and the QUT community. The Team Leader will prioritise workloads across the team and manage competing priorities, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders to gather reliable and accurate information, enabling fit-for-purpose solution options. The position reports to the Associate Director, Education and Research for career planning, development and performance expectations.

What you need to succeed
Education and training equivalent to postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in managing media delivery or learning environments in a complex educational and research environment.
Proven leadership ability with experience in cultivating a dynamic agile team culture focused on achieving organisational goals and applying development strategies that ensure the team has the relevant skills to respond to business needs.
Demonstrated experience in conceptualising and designing content creation spaces that leverage technology and media to enhance student engagement.
Proven knowledge of content creation space design principles and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into effective spatial and technological solutions which support effective media production of learning experiences.
Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including academics, administrators, learning designers, and technical staff.
Demonstrated passion for exploring new ideas and experimenting with emerging technologies to create more engaging and effective experiences in rapidly changing environments.
