PROJECT ARCHITECT – SYDNEY ABOUT THE COMPANY
I am pleased to be partnering with one of Australia's most highly respected architectural studios in their search for a talented Project Architect. This nationally recognised practice is known for delivering large-scale multi-residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across Australia and internationally. With a strong design philosophy, collaborative studio culture and an impressive portfolio of built work, they continue to shape some of the country's most prominent cities. Due to sustained growth within their multi-residential, commercial and mixed-use division, an opportunity now exists for a technically strong and delivery-focused Project Architect to join the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will see you working across high-profile projects (multi-res & mixed-use), with potential future exposure to hospitality and hotel developments. You will play a key role in the delivery of projects from Development Application through to construction completion, working closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors to ensure design integrity and technical excellence are maintained throughout. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex projects within a studio that values both creativity and technical rigour.
DUTIES
* Lead and contribute to projects across DA, Tender and CC documentation stages
* Prepare and coordinate high-quality documentation packages
* Manage consultant coordination across all project phases
* Oversee and resolve technical detailing and compliance matters
* Attend and contribute to site meetings and construction phase services
* Support project delivery through to on-site completion
* Collaborate closely with internal design and leadership teams
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Registered Architect (or working towards registration)
* Proven experience delivering multi-residential and/or commercial projects
* Fully proficient in Revit (essential)
* Strong capability across DA, tender packages and CC documentation
* Demonstrated experience in consultant coordination
* Experience across on-site/construction delivery phases
* Sound knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and planning controls
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a studio environment
