We are seeking a Senior Fleet Controller to manage all daily fleet movements at our busy depot. This is a standalone role where you will be the central point of communication between drivers and operations, ensuring every pickup and delivery runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Fleet Coordination – Manage all vehicle movements throughout the day, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
Driver Communication – Act as the primary contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and updates on daily schedules.
Scheduling & Route Management – Plan and adjust routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
Operational Oversight – Monitor progress, resolve issues quickly, and maintain service continuity under high workloads.
Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to transport regulations and company standards.
Reporting & Accuracy – Track hours, costs, and performance metrics using Excel and internal systems.
Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
What You Will Need:
Transport & Logistics Experience – Strong understanding of fleet operations and driver coordination.
Scheduling Expertise – Ability to manage complex schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
High Workload Management – Proven ability to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills – Clear and professional interaction with drivers and stakeholders.
Excel & Reporting Skills – Confident in data tracking and operational reporting.
Knowledge of Regulations – Familiarity with dangerous goods segregation and compliance standards.
Local Area Knowledge – Excellent understanding of Brisbane and surrounding areas for route planning.
