Job Title: Administration Officer (with Assets Focus)

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Administration Officer to support our Assets & Procurement team. While the role is primarily administrative, it also offers exposure to fleet, property, and equipment coordination. Prior experience in asset or property administration is highly desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
We’re open to flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, casual, or fixed-term contracts, to suit the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking stable hours, school-friendly shifts, or a temporary position to gain experience especially with potential changes to team structure at the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, maintaining records, and scheduling appointments
* Support the Assets & Procurement Manager with asset register updates, fleet bookings, and contractor coordination
* Assist with routine and ad-hoc servicing for vehicles, equipment, and properties
* Liaise with suppliers to gather quotes and schedule works
* Coordinate internal support tasks and help streamline asset processes
* Generate reports and assist with audits or compliance requirements
* Maintain inventory levels and support procurement activity
* Carry out other administrative support duties as required
About You:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and databases/systems
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Current C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
Desirable:
* Experience in fleet, facilities or asset management
* Qualification in Business Administration
* Understanding of or experience working with Aboriginal organisations or communities
