Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Professional
We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to lead our Child Youth and Family Mental Health (CYF-MH) stream in a local health district.
This role is available in a large interdisciplinary team providing community mental health care to young people aged up to 17 years. The team aims to deliver excellent community mental health care for young people with moderate to severe mental health issues, underpinned by evidence-informed and therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide medical leadership within the team
* Support the delivery of mental health assessments and management for young people
* Empower families and care networks, participate in key clinical decisions, supervise registrars, and assist medical student education
This role enables the development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative care for young people and their care networks.
Requirements
* Possess registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
* Advanced Certificate of Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
* Current driver's license
* Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development and reflective practice
