Library Assistant
Permanent | Part-time | Term time only | 3 days
About the role
The Library Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the School Library across the Junior and Senior School. Working closely with librarians and teaching staff, the role provides frontline customer service, assists with the management and maintenance of library collections, supports library programs and events, and helps create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing customer service and circulation support to students and staff.
* Assisting with the processing, shelving and maintenance of library resources.
* Supporting library programs, events and promotional displays.
* Assisting students and staff to access library technologies and resources.
* Contributing to a welcoming, safe and engaging library environment.
* Working collaboratively with library team members to support effective library operations.
