The Opportunity
Veris are hiring for experienced senior surveyor to work from our Mackay offices. These positions offer the opportunity to join our talented team of exceptional surveyors on a broad range of pivotal cadastral and urban development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake cadastral surveys under the supervision of a Licensed Surveyor
* Undertake civil and building engineering surveys including construction, road set-out and audits, as constructed and feature surveys
* Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate.
* Manage and control survey submission documentation to statutory authorities
About You
* Relevant Tertiary qualifications
* Proficiency with 12D, AutoCAD and modern surveying equipment
* The ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including developers, project managers, government agencies and other consultants
* The ability and willingness to work collaboratively with a cohesive team, mentor other staff (where applicable), set objectives and achieve successful project outcomes
* Valid Australian Driver's License (manual vehicle)
