An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Engineer to join a leading civil construction company renowned for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects. Your new role
The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Estimator and Project Manager throughout all phases of project delivery-from tendering and planning through to execution and finalisation. This position involves coordinating construction requirements, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to the timely and profitable completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with project estimating and tender development.
* Coordinate project activities from inception to completion, including survey control and as-constructed documentation.
* Prepare Construction Time Pathways (CTPs) and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
* Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work.
* Maintain QA documentation and monitor quality and environmental compliance.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
* Support risk assessments and contribute to safe work practices.
What you'll need to succeed
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* General safety induction card.
* Strong understanding of modern construction techniques and project methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
