Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant to join our Occupational Rehabilitation team in Townsville, QLD. As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, providing occupational rehabilitation services to support their return to health and work.
Main Responsibilities
* Case management: You will manage your own caseload, working closely with clients, employers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized plans to achieve return to work outcomes.
* Mentorship and coaching: You will provide guidance and support to junior consultants, helping them to develop their skills and achieve service delivery and customer service targets.
* Induction and performance management: You will be involved in the induction of new consultants and contribute to performance management processes to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
* Qualifications: A degree in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy, and full professional registration with either AHPRA or ESSA accreditation.
* Experience: Proven experience working in occupational rehabilitation is essential.
* Skillset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion, as well as strong time management and organizational skills.
