Overview
Royal Hobart Hospital's Children and Adolescent Units (Paediatric Services) are seeking Enrolled Nurses to join the inpatient team.
Responsibilities
* Strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients, families and other health professionals.
Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures and practices.
* Demonstrated ability to practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
Essential Criteria
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse and holds a board‐approved qualification in administration of medicines.
* Working with Children Registration.
Working Conditions
* Fixed‐term, part‐time shift work up to 76 hours per fortnight.
* Positions commence as soon as possible for up to six (6) months.
* Hours negotiable with successful candidate.
* Selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for twelve months from publication.
Salary and Benefits
* Base salary: $73,109 to $80,524 per annum (pro rata) with a 12 % superannuation contribution.
* Salary fit‐for‐role is set by the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Award 2023.
* Post‐graduate allowance: up to 7.5 % based on qualification type.
* Other benefits: salary packaging options; living expenses up to $9,010 plus $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year; study leave; professional development support; fitness passport ($14.50 per week per person or $28.05 for family).
