What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing the architectural direction for health and security monitoring technologies across a large platform.
- Engaging closely with operational teams to understand their use cases and requirements for monitoring toolsets.
- Collaborating with technical architects and security leads to ensure compliance with design standards and security requirements.
- Documenting processes and procedures required for deployment, maintenance, and operational use of monitoring technologies.
- Championing the use of automation and orchestration capabilities to promote efficiency and improve working processes.

Mandatory
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with one or more of the following areas:
- Administering or deploying monitoring and observability tools such as CheckMK, Prometheus or Zabbix.
- Administering or deploying SIEM tools such as Elastic Security, Splunk or Trellix ESM.
- Working with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Kibana or Grafana.
Preferred
- Ansible automation experience.
- Knowledge of monitoring networking equipment using SNMP.
- Understanding of data pipeline tools like NiFi.
- Experience working in operational environments.
