About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Property Manager to join our team at Realmark Geraldton. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties in the Geraldton area, ensuring optimal tenancy and maximising returns for our clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Effectively managing a portfolio of residential rental properties, including processing applications, conducting inspections, and coordinating maintenance and repairs
2. Ensuring timely rent collection and arrears management, while fostering positive relationships with both landlords and tenants
3. Regularly inspecting properties and providing detailed condition reports to landlords
4. Proactively marketing vacant properties to secure new tenancies
5. Advising landlords on strategies to maximise rental returns and maintain the value of their investment properties
6. Updating landlords on the status of their properties and providing regular performance reports
7. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry regulations
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential property management role, preferably within the Geraldton or broader Mid-West region
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both landlords and tenants
3. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse portfolio
4. Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
5. Thorough understanding of residential tenancy legislation and property management best practices
6. Proficient in using property management software and related technologies
7. A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
