Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with a diverse customer base including local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers
- Assisting customers in-store and over the phone with pricing, product queries, and counter sales
- Performing general administrative tasks such as stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching goods
- Supporting merchandise campaigns and maintaining a welcoming, well-presented store environment
- Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
- Ensuring safety processes are followed at all times
- This is a permanent part-time role (approx. 20 hours per week) and includes Saturday morning shifts (9am–12pm).
A little about you
- You're self-motivated, proactive, and bring a positive approach to customer service
- You have strong time management and verbal communication skills
- You're passionate about Australian agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise
- You have experience achieving sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products relevant to local crops
- You’re keen to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales
- A current driver’s licence and forklift ticket is advantageous but not essential
