 
        
        **Role and Responsibilities**
**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Ensures the smooth setup, hiring and regulatory approval for a new training center in Sydney, Australia 
- Leads the Training Centers operations by planning and organizing the training center activities and successfully meeting key operational metrics to ensure CAE's goals and objectives are met 
- Establishes and maintains a customer-oriented business relationship with CAE's various clients by creating an outstanding customer experience at the centers 
- Seeks new methods to improve the training center operations, quality of training products and overall profitability by contributing to standardization efforts for the region and by maintaining and improving responsiveness and efficiency 
- Develops and delivers budgets and manages spending as appropriate 
- Interfaces with key functional groups including Human resources, Finance and IT 
- Ensures compliance with regulatory affairs for the centers and all regulatory certifications 
- Motivates, leads and ensures quality work of a team consisting of instructors, full flight technicians, customer service representatives, schedulers, quality assurance, and other aviation training personnel as required. 
- Drives employee engagement to ensure the workforce is able to delight customers 
- Contributes to resource sharing across the APAC region 
Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time within Australia and Asia Pacific
