The Opportunity:
Due to continued and consistent growth 3D Engineering are looking for trade qualified boilermakers to join the team for an immediate start at our Mackay workshop.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Fabricate steel components for mining machinery and other equipment.
* Repair and maintain mining machinery and other plant.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Undertake tasks involving use of measuring equipment and hand tools.
* Undertake welding in accordance with engineering specifications.
* Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
About you:
* Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication/Boilermaking
* Boilermakers must be able to weld to AS2980 standards and pass weld test
* Extensive Fabrication and Welding experience
* Ability to read, follow and interpret design drawings & instructions
* Skilled & experienced in a variety of welding processes
* High Risk Work licence covering forklifts preferable but not essential
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Self-motivated, positive & solutions focused

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 12 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
Supplementary Pay:
* Overtime pay
