An exciting opportunity exists for an Early Intervention Parenting Clinician (Psychologist or Social Worker) to our Child, Youth and Family Health Service. To provide targeted individual, couple and group interventions on a short-to-medium term basis and using the principles of family-centred care, predominately with the parent/caregiver(s) but focused on the child in the context of referred families that that access the Child Health Service (CHS), Child, Youth & Family Community Health Services.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
Independently manage a clinical caseload with variable complexity, exercising competent professional judgement with appropriate supervision support and provide clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery.
Develop and facilitate good working relationships with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to positive team outcomes by collaborating, participating and advocating for positive outcomes for families.
Co-facilitate group interventions including the preparation, implementation and evaluation of sessions.
Remuneration value up to $89,770 p.a, comprising salary rates $ $69.55 p.h., (part time, 38 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (part time positions available, one 38 hrs p.f. and one 30.4 hrs p.f.).
