The Opportunity
WE ARE EXPANDING!
We're seeking a mid‐senior level Maintenance Technician. Applicants who are Grade A Electricians, Electricians, Fitters, or multi‐skilled across both trades are encouraged to apply—especially those with strong industrial experience. Roster will be 4 days on 4 days off, rotating Day and Nights - 6am to 6pm/6pm to 6am.
Located in the west of Melbourne, our team is dedicated to delivering food safety by efficiently resolving issues and thinking outside the box to troubleshoot while maintaining a safe working environment. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of equipment in different applications, allowing you to expand your skillset on state‐of‐the‐art technology. You will collaborate with Technicians and Operators to ensure maximum performance and availability of our automated facilities and systems.
Main Duties
* To ensure electrical and mechanical systems operate, in order to support customer service KPI's
* Carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance
* Maintain a safe working environment
* Perform preventive maintenance program as determined by the manufacturer's equipment
* Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions so as to minimise equipment downtime
* Liaise with the Planner and Operations team to identify the impact of breakdown events on Customers
* Maintain records of preventive maintenance tasks completed and report any variations vs. plan
* Under breakdown conditions that are, or are likely to affect Customer Service, to advise management of options to resolve

* Offsite support of Satellite Sites – Peters / McCain
