Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or a similar finance role.
Progress toward, or completion of, a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA Australia) preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze management accounts, budgets, and rolling forecasts to support executive and operational decision-making.
Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate material variances, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to management.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information through timely reconciliations and adherence to accounting standards.
Manage the month-end close process, including posting journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and conducting regular asset valuation reviews.
Produce detailed costing analyses to support the development and evaluation of pricing strategies, including pricing model assessments and profitability analysis.
Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to senior management to support strategic and operational business decisions.
Skills & Attributes Required
Management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
Financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting
General ledger management and month-end close
Costing, pricing analysis, and profitability assessment
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance
Advanced Excel and experience with accounting/ERP systems
Commercial acumen and clear communication to present financial insights to senior management
