Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Area Manager to lead our team of Centre Managers in delivering exceptional quality care, development, and education of children. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction, coaching, and support to their team members, while also driving business objectives and promoting a positive work culture.
* Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, diversity, and inclusion within the area.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive team engagement and motivation, ensuring high levels of job satisfaction and performance.
* Manage the full team ratio (FTR) across the area, considering required qualifications and developing internal talent to provide bench strength.
* Demonstrate safety leadership and culture by reinforcing safety values and behaviours, holding regular safety meetings and discussions with Centre Managers and teams.
* Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented consistently across all Centres.
* Monitor curriculum and education programs to company standards and the National Quality Framework, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
* Maximise occupancy and revenue in your area through effective local area marketing, enrolments, and value-add services.
Requirements
* A diploma or bachelor's degree in Children Services or Early Childhood Education.
* 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably within the early childhood sector.
* Centre Manager experience is preferred, with multisite or multichannel leadership experience also highly regarded.
* A passionate belief in the importance of early years care, development, and education.
* Strong ethics and a genuine approach towards child safety and workplace health and safety.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated P&L accountability and a track record of achieving business objectives.
* First Aid and CPR Certificates, with a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
