About the Team
The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is a service provider, regulator and central agency of government. Subsidence Advisory NSW is an energetic team supporting property owners living in areas where subsidence may occur. An opportunity has become available to join the team in Subsidence Advisory NSW for a Technical Specialist. This role will see you apply your project management and technical skills within a small team of specialists in the Subsidence Risk Evaluation team.
About the Role:
This role involves providing technical expertise in subsidence research programs to meet the existing and future needs of the community and industry, as well as leading other engineers in their assessment of subsidence matters across NSW. You will also lead projects to rapidly respond to subsidence events and meet both current and future needs of the community.
Essential Criteria:
* Strong project management skills
* Tertiary qualifications in Structural/Civil/Mining/Geotechnical Engineering
* Proven experience in engineering, mining, building or construction
* Full NSW drivers' license is essential
