Key Position Summary
We seek an experienced Water Network Operations Leader to manage a team responsible for operating, constructing, and maintaining water network systems.
Main Responsibilities
* Direct a team of operators to achieve work objectives safely and efficiently
* Plan and schedule work to ensure safety, productivity, and licensing compliance
* Monitor operator performance, ensuring delivery of services that meet quality, cost, and time standards
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective service delivery
* Implement traffic control plans and maintain regulatory compliance
Essential Qualifications
* Certificate III in Water Operations or willingness to obtain
* Proven leadership and motivational skills
* Experience in water operations, construction, and/or plumbing industry
* Able to plan and schedule work effectively
* Class MR license or above
* Traffic controller tickets
* Confined space entry certification
* Working at heights qualification
* Dogman certification
* High pressure jetting water system operation
* Working near overhead powerlines
* AQF3 Chemical Safety certification
What We Offer
* Permanent, full-time position with 76 hours per fortnight on a team-based 9-day fortnight roster
* On-call roster participation
* Remuneration package based on Grade 9 of Council's Salary System Protocol
* Base salary: $3011 to $3389 per fortnight
* Adverse Working Conditions Allowance: $38.98 per fortnight
* Superannuation: $366.02 to $411 per fortnight (12%)
* Market Allowance: $307.69 per fortnight
* Retention Allowance: $2000 after 12 months service
* Daily on-call allowance: up to $445 per week when rostered
* Regular overtime available
* Commuter use vehicle access
