About the Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll help lead the team and bring the Harris Scarfe experience to life - creating a warm, welcoming store environment and delivering on sales, service, and team culture.
* Support the Store Manager across all areas of the business
* Lead by example - setting high standards in service, safety, and presentation
* Train, coach, and support your team to build skills and confidence
* Oversee stock handling, merchandising, and compliance processes
* Support a collaborative and inclusive team culture
* Make every customer interaction count - every day
What You'll Bring
You're a hands‐on leader with a passion for retail and a genuine love of people. With strong communication and great attention to detail, you know how to get the best from your team - and keep the customer at the heart of everything you do.
* Previous experience in leadership or supervisor roles with retail or hospitality.
* A people‐first mindset with strong coaching and team‐building skills
* Great communication and a calm, solutions‐focused approach
* Confidence in visual merchandising and store presentation
* Organised and efficient, with strong admin and IT skills
* Full availability including weekends, and full working rights in Australia
