Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team.
The role is flexible and allows a balanced work life while supporting people in the community to live their best lives.
We are seeking a Community Homecare worker for our Northern Rivers team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred care and support by assisting clients with daily living requirements.
* Domestic assistance including light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
* Social support and transportation such as accompanying clients to medical appointments or social activities.
* Support clients in using aids like walking frames and wheelchairs.
* Monitor clients' well-being and report progress.
* Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance.
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
* A reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required).
* A smartphone with internet access.
