Security Officer | Kawana Shoppingworld
We're currently seeking qualified Security Officers to join our growing team at Kawana Shoppingworld. You'll be part of a frontline team providing safety and support in a dynamic retail setting.
This position is casual, with progression opportunities and additional hours available across multiple Sunshine Coast sites for those wanting more work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist customers with directions, questions, and general support.
* Patrol the centre to maintain a safe and secure environment.
* Respond quickly to medical incidents, safety issues, or disturbances.
* Use calm communication to resolve conflicts and manage difficult situations.
* Complete clear and accurate incident reports and handovers.
* Communicate with centre management, team members, retailers, and emergency services when required.
* Follow all site procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
* Current First Aid & CPR certificates
* Valid Queensland Security and Crowd Control function
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Flexibility for a rotating 24/7 roster
* High standards of integrity, presentation, and professionalism
* Experience in regulated environments and outcome-focused work
