About the Role
As the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, you will lead the strategic direction, planning and delivery of AMDA's marketing, communications, media and brand activity. This is a high‐impact leadership role responsible for shaping AMDA's public presence, driving integrated campaigns, overseeing media and PR strategy, and ensuring consistent, compelling brand representation across all channels and events.
You will guide a capable team, manage agency partners, and work closely with senior executives to position AMDA as a trusted, influential voice across industry and government. This role plays a critical part in the success of AMDA's major national events, ensuring strong audience engagement, stakeholder alignment and high‐quality content delivery.
About You
You are an experienced senior marketing and communications leader with the ability to operate strategically while still staying close to execution. You bring strong judgement, exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at senior levels across government, industry and media.
You'll have demonstrated experience leading integrated campaigns, managing brand strategy, overseeing media and PR activity, and guiding teams in fast‐paced, high‐profile environments. Exposure to Aviation/Aerospace while not mandatory, would be highly advantageous. Moreover you thrive on complexity, collaboration and delivering work that has national visibility and impact.
