We are currently seeking suitably experienced applicants for this full-time role based in 'Lowlands' Mt Gambier.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stock handling:
* Induction processes
* Animal husbandry
* Stock movements
* Pen riding
* Yard work
* Loading and unloading of cattle / sheep
Front end loader tractor operation:
* Silage/hay harvest
* Filling hay rings with fodder
Farm maintenance:
* Maintaining electric fences
* Maintaining water system
* Trough cleaning and maintenance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
* You must be reliable, physically fit and willing to work as part of a team
* You understand the importance of personal hygiene, attention to detail and following procedures
* Certificate II or III agriculture (or equivalent assessed by relevant authority) would be preferred, but not essential
* You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
* You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
* Applicants must have reliable mode of transport to and from work
