Office Administrator/Payroll Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors and families, excellent communication skills, flexibility, confidentiality, and a friendly demeanour are essential.
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in administration;
* Administrative skills, including proficiency in using software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
* Experience using social media platforms and managing a website host (WIX);
* Ability to perform duties responsibly under limited supervision to ensure team goals are achieved;
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the enrolment process from initial enquiry to onboarding;
* Manage school databases/childcare software system (Kinderm8);
* Submit and collect census information, general school reporting;
* Assist with policy review & updates;
* Fulfil bookkeeping responsibilities, i.e. payroll, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and support the Treasurer as required;
The ideal candidate will have:
* Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one);
* Experience using XERO;
* Experience working in an Early Childhood setting highly desirable;
* Certificate for First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis desirable;
