Join our team and play a key role in partnering with leaders across Council to deliver strategic and operational HR support. What Your Day Will Look Like
* Partnering with leaders to understand and support their strategic priorities
* Providing expert advice on employee and industrial relations matters
* Interpreting industrial instruments, employment legislation and Council policies
* Supporting organisational change initiatives, including position and departmental restructure proposals
* Conducting workplace investigations and assisting with complex people matters
* Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and service delivery
* Supporting compliance, governance and best-practice people management across Council
What You’ll Bring
You are a confident and collaborative HR professional with a strong foundation in employee and industrial relations. You enjoy building trusted relationships, navigating complex situations and delivering practical, commercially sound advice.
You’ll Have
* Working knowledge of Industrial and employee relations
* Strong organisational and time management skills, able to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
* Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
* A high level of computer literacy with the ability to learn council systems
