Job Title: Lecturer
Location: Central Regional TAFE
About the Role:
A lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients. Lecturers will also be involved in the provision of consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients.
The TAFE environment offers comprehensive industry-based training packages and an underpinning quality system that provides a framework for delivery and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach and facilitate learning in various formats.
2. Conduct assessments effectively.
3. Provide consultancy and promotional services to industry and community clients.
Requirements:
* A current Western Australian Electrician's Licence or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position.
* Ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
* Australian or Australian equivalent qualification(s), with recognition through the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) if obtained overseas.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher recognized teaching qualification) or progression towards it.
