About the role
The Engineering & Maintenance Manager is a Full‑Time position, based mainly at our Ingleburn factory (Glass wool products) and our Seven Hills (Ventilation products) site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage all aspects of engineering, maintenance, continuous improvement, and capital projects for Interior Systems on our two sites.
In this role you will:
* Champion a safety‑first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero‑harm environment, ensuring to Never Walk Past.
* Lead: Manage the Engineering and Maintenance team of Fitters, Electricians and Engineers (Project and Reliability Engineers).
* Capital Projects: Develop the capital plan and construction for long‑term improvements.
* Inspire Growth and Efficiency: Lead the Maintenance team to ensure effective operation of the site, maximizing efficiency while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
* Empower Collaboration: Provide leadership in both daily and long‑term operation of the business, driving improvement initiatives, training programmes, quantifying benefits, and tracking performance.
* Clear Vision and Direction: Provide technical leadership that guides the plant toward achieving strategic objectives.
* Innovate for Sustainability: Utilize Lean Manufacturing Principles to enhance plant reliability, product quality, and streamline processes.
Ideally, you will have mechanical or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing site, and you will have excellent leadership and people‑management skills.
