Job Title: Prototype Guided Weapons Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to support the execution and management of weapon trials for the Department of Defence. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of these trials, which involve the testing and evaluation of prototype guided weapons.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of weapon trials;
* Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with trial operations;
* Maintain accurate records of trial activities, including data collection and analysis;
* Provide technical support to ensure the safe and efficient conduct of trials;
* Develop and implement strategies to minimize disruptions to trial schedules.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics);
* Proven experience in a similar role or related field (minimum 2 years);
* Australian citizenship for security clearances;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
* Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
