About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including project sponsors, engineers, and contractors, to deliver high-quality electrical projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets;
* Coordinating and supervising project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors;
* Maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders, including regular progress updates and risk management;
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
* Providing technical guidance and support to project team members;
Requirements:
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Electrical Project Manager with:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
* At least 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector;
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams;
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and technologies, including design, installation, and maintenance;
* A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Mechanic or Fitter / Mechanic);
* Familiarity with AS/NZ3000 and relevant electrical safety legislation;
