About Verdant
Verdant delivers high-end residential landscape construction and premium property maintenance across the Sunshine Coast.
We work on architect-designed homes and quality acreage properties where precision, clean finishes, and long-term presentation are non-negotiable.
This is not volume work. It is detailed, professional landscaping done properly.
The role
Hands-on landscaping across construction, softscaping, and property maintenance, with occasional small-scale hardscape works (e.g. timber retaining, basic drainage, edging — no large civil works).
You will be involved in:
* Garden maintenance to a consistently high, sharp standard
* Planting, soil preparation, and garden establishment
* Drainage, edging, retaining, and structural landscape works
* Specialised chemical-free weed control using commercial steam equipment — a key part of our service on premium properties
* Safe and competent operation of commercial equipment
* Maintaining clean, organised worksites
* General landscape tasks as required across softscape and light construction
Strong operators will run jobs, manage small crews, and take ownership of outcomes.

Requirements
* Experience in landscaping or horticulture (minimum 1-2 years)
* Competence with mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
* Current driver's licence
* Full Australian work rights
* Cert III Landscape Construction (advantageous, not essential)
Pay
$30–$38/hr + super. Set based on output, reliability, and capability.
High performers move quickly to the top of the range.
Casual position with potential for ongoing full-time hours.
