Role Overview
The System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of the Firm's IT systems, network infrastructure, and technology equipment. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems, providing technical support to staff and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The IT Systems Administrator reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will work closely with other Managers and team member of the Firm.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide prompt technical support and guidance to staff for hardware, software, and network issues
.
* Maintain and monitor all facets of the network, including server systems, workstations,
* and hardware infrastructure
* Oversee the development and maintenance the Firm's precedent database and continually looking for opportunities to improve its usability
* Maintain telephone system and voicemail software; implement changes as required.
* Maintain overall system security, including continuous improvement of security and privacy policies and procedures.
* In consultation with the COO, prepare annual budget for all technology needs on a zero base basis incorporating current requirements and projected future needs
* Monitor spam ingress and ensure blocked emails are actioned daily; update spam filters as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Administration and configuration of Microsoft 365 tenancy.
* User, license, and security management.
* Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management.
* Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO configuration.
* Microsoft Intune device management.
* Endpoint security, compliance policies, and application deployment.
* Exchange Online mailbox management.
* VMware / VCloud Director experience.
* Veeam Backup & Replication familiarity.
* Networking (FortiGate, Aruba Central), VPN administration.
* Security and endpoint protection (SentinelOne XDR).
* Telephony system administration (Telstra IP Telephony (TIPT).
* Print management (YSoft SafeQ).
* Dictation & transcription platform management (Philips SpeechExec). Remote support and access (TeamViewer)
