Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cybersecurity and OT projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resources across the full project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, plans, risk registers, RAID logs, and status reports.
Implement fit-for-purpose governance structures and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Define technical requirements and contribute to solution design in collaboration with architects, engineers, and subject matter experts.
Oversee delivery of cybersecurity initiatives including SOC implementation, IAM programmes, network segmentation and zero trust architecture, vulnerability management, and security awareness programmes.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
Manage relationships with external vendors and managed service providers, ensuring performance against contracted deliverables.
Oversee procurement activities including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order management.
Engage and communicate effectively with executive leadership, operational site managers, IT and OT teams, and external partners.
Desired Experience: Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (required).
Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (required).
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISM are highly regarded.
GICSP, ICPS/SCADA-specific training, or equivalent OT security credentials are advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in technology project management, with at least 5 years delivering cybersecurity and/or OT projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering projects within the resources, mining, oil & gas, utilities, or heavy industrial sectors.
Experience working in industrial environments including exposure to ICPS, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and related OT technologies.
Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and the ACSC Essential Eight.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet; Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models).
