Overview
We are growing and strengthening our assessment capacity nationwide.
In this role, most days start with a booked run sheet of site visits. You'll travel to damaged homes, inspect what's happened and confirm the appropriate repair method based on what you see, not on assumptions from photos.
Service Area
Primarily aligned to the Rockhampton to Townsville Region; regular travel outside this area is part of the role.
Qualifications
* Experience as a loss adjusting, builder, restoration specialist or estimator, where you've scoped repairs and worked directly with customers and builders.
* Experience in desktop home assessing.
Responsibilities
* Inspect damage, make onsite decision and document repair method so work moves forward.
* Explain outcomes to customers face‐to‐face and answer questions when decisions are not straightforward.
* Walk through scopes with builders, resolve disagreements and keep repairs moving when timelines or methods are challenged.
* Manage daily run sheet of new and active claims—balancing inspections, scope creation, follow‐ups and documentation.
* Use the DOS system daily to complete reports and keep documentation current.
* National travel may be required during catastrophe events.
* Occasional desktop assessments and support role.
