This position is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional with a strong background in import/export freight forwarding, customer management, and international logistics operations. Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing quotations, supporting import/export clients, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers, overseas agents, and internal operational teams. This role plays a critical part in driving growth, service excellence, and market expansion across NSW. Reporting into the accomplished Commercial Director, your focus will cover: Manage a defined NSW territory with strong knowledge of importers, exporters, and competitors. Coordinate with overseas agents on international bookings, sales leads, and shipment tracking. Support the onboarding of new accounts, including documentation and customer introductions. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of import/export opportunities. Foster strong relationships with customers, internal branches, and regional teams. Contribute to the development of value‑added logistics solutions and pricing models. Participate in industry events, trade groups, and ongoing training programs.
