We are seeking an ambitious and skilled professional to join our team as an Environment Project Officer. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sustainable natural resource management and has a strong background in environmental science or related fields.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to support environment and heritage outcomes, property plans, land condition monitoring, education, awareness, adult learning, and on-ground works projects across the region. Key duties include managing natural resource management projects, building partnerships, identifying funding opportunities, maintaining professional awareness of policy developments, and contributing to the success of the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in agricultural or environmental science or related disciplines.
* Demonstrated scientific knowledge of natural resource management concepts, principles, and procedures.
* Experience in industry extension principles and practices, and engaging with agricultural and land management sectors.
* High organisational skills, written and oral communication skills, initiative, and ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
* Ability to develop innovative projects, identify funding opportunities, and set objectives in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
