We're looking for a dynamic Social Account Lead to take ownership of our social media operations and lead the charge in launching, maintaining, and optimising campaigns across various platforms.
About the Role
The Social Media Buyer Lead is pivotal in the seamless execution of digital campaigns across primary social platforms like Meta and TikTok, as well as emerging platforms. They are responsible for the setup, monitoring, and optimisation of campaigns to ensure we meet performance expectations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues, implementing innovative solutions, and leveraging advanced platform management tools and AI for strategic experimentation and optimisation. The Senior Social Buyer also plays a critical role in gathering data into actionable insights, assisting account management in crafting data-driven narratives that enhance client engagement and satisfaction. This role encompasses a commitment to technological adeptness, client-focused innovation, and collaborative problem-solving, ensuring that each campaign delivers exceptional results and strategic value.
Key Responsibilities :
* Strategic Media Buying: Develop and implement media buying strategies that align with the company's GTM strategy guaranteeing performance. Focus primarily on META and TikTok, optimising spending to achieve KPI goals.
* Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets effectively across platforms, ensuring optimal spend while meeting campaign objectives.
* Delivery of Campaign Budgets / Units: Ensure the complete and timely delivery of campaign budgets and units as per client agreements and campaign plans.
* Maintain and Maximise Performance: Closely monitor and manage performance metrics. Implement strategies to maximise KPIs.
* Reporting and Analysis: Assist the account management team in the analysis and reporting of data from campaigns. Assist with developing comprehensive reports that not only detail performance metrics but also narrate a compelling story for clients, illustrating the value and impact of the campaigns.
* Collaboration with Account Management Teams: Work closely with account management teams on RFPs, campaign briefs, planning, and pricing strategies to ensure comprehensive service offerings and competitive positioning in the market.
* International Coordination: Collaborate with international teams to align processes and ensure that client expectations are met to guarantee campaign performance.
* Platform Management and AI Tools: Utilise advanced platform management technologies and AI tools for cross-platform optimisation to dynamically adjust campaigns within Meta and across other platforms.
* Hiring and Training: Assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and selection of candidates. Develop and execute training programs for new hires to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Qualifications :
* Strategic Expertise: 3-5+ years of experience in paid social media management or a similar role, with a deep understanding of how to develop and execute strategies that drive client success. Experience at a tech publisher or digital media agency is a plus.
* In-Depth Platform Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, with a particular focus on the intricacies of paid social campaigns, media buying on bidding models, and comprehensive campaign management.
* Client-Focused Strategy Development: A natural relationship builder who excels at understanding client needs, crafting tailored strategies, and delivering exceptional service that addresses the specific challenges and opportunities within social media.
* Organisational Excellence: Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
* Effective Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex social media strategies to clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Analytical Proficiency: Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse complex metrics and translate them into actionable strategies. Proficient in using Excel for calculations, pivot tables, and data visualisation to inform decision-making.
* Certifications: Social Media (META & TikTok) certifications will be considered a significant advantage.
