About the Role
* Administer and report on contractor operations to ensure compliance with legislation and quality of work.
* Negotiate positive business outcomes through verbal and written communications with contractors and internal stakeholders regarding estate management.
* Investigate and respond to customer requests in accordance with Council's Customer Charter.
* Undertake inspections of Council's estate to identify and record safety and management issues.
Requirements
* Sound knowledge of civil works processes.
* Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to solve problems that require tact and diplomacy.
* Substantial experience working alongside heavy machinery or in related fields.
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field would be well regarded.
* Physical agility and fitness are essential to perform labouring tasks.
