Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company, based in Adelaide, providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations located near Coober Pedy currently mine and export 3Mtpa+ high grade Iron ore.
About the Role:
We are seeking applicants to join Agile's Processing Team as a Crusher/Fixed plant crew Leading Hand (LH).
You will be responsible for leading your crew, conducting maintenance, service, repairs and troubleshooting on a range of fixed plant equipment.
Duties include but are not limited to;
* Assisting supervisor in leading your crew ensuring everyone works safely and efficiently.
* Conducting services, repairs, maintenance and lubrication whilst producing accurate maintenance systems documentation.
* Sourcing technical information including technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.
* Maintain radio communications for shift activities.
* Manage parts requests for defects/parts required for repairs to our fixed plant.
* Mentoring team members and assist to build a positive safety culture.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience with crushing and screening equipment
* An Australian recognised Mechanical/Electrical/Operation/BM Trade qualification/s would be an advantage
* Demonstrated 2-5 years demonstrated leadership/ supervisory skills in field.
* Someone who can work collaboratively with their crew and the wider site team towards delivering safe, high-quality results.
* Someone who will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges while acting with fairness and integrity in all that they do.
* Able to work unsupervised as required
* Commitment to safety in the workplace
* Team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Positive attitude and prepared to lead by example.
Essential Requirements:
* Current Driver's License
* National Police Check (within 6 months)
* Strong crushing / processing knowledge

Pre-employment:
